The record for most on-screen deaths doesn’t belong to either of these fan favorites — it belongs to legendary British actor Christopher Lee, who was killed off a jaw-dropping 70 times in films during his illustrious career.

Christopher Lee, who starred in over 200 movies during his six-decade-long career, earned global fame playing iconic villains — and often dying in memorable fashion. From Count Dracula in Hammer Horror classics to Saruman in The Lord of the Rings, Lee’s cinematic demise became a trademark.
