The troll commented on one of Big B’s posts on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Andheri raaton mein shehanshah kyun jaag rahe ho…So jayiye ab umar ho gaye aapko,” mocking the superstar’s late-night activity and suggesting he should sleep because of his age.

But Amitabh Bachchan was quick to shut down the troll with a sharp and thoughtful reply: “Ek din tumhari bhi umar ho jaaegi… Ishwar ne chaha.” The reply, meaning “One day, you too will have an age, if God wills,” left netizens impressed by the actor’s grace and wisdom. Interestingly, Big B later deleted this reply, but it had already gone viral.

This isn’t the first time Amitabh has faced trolls with such composure. On another occasion, when a fan expressed sadness over his son Abhishek Bachchan not getting due recognition in the film industry, Amitabh responded with positivity, urging the fan to be happy instead of sad, praising his son’s continuous hard work and growth.

At 82, Amitabh Bachchan remains a towering figure in Indian cinema and television. Recently seen as Ashwatthama in the much-loved film Kalki 2898 AD, he also stars in the Tamil action drama Vettaiyan alongside superstar Rajinikanth. Besides acting, he continues to host the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), a role he has held since 2000, despite rumors of Salman Khan taking over.

Through his work and social media presence, Amitabh Bachchan continues to inspire millions — not just with his talent, but also with his wit, humility, and the respect he commands, even from those who try to troll him.
