The rapper’s online store was taken down by Shopify after selling swastika-themed merchandise, sparking intense public backlash. Now, as he attempts to rebuild, YEEZY is making a dramatic shift by offering products at a fraction of their original price.
August 11, 2025: After a week of intense public scrutiny, Kanye West‘s YEEZY online store has reopened on Shopify, but with a very different plan. The business, which was shut down after selling items with swastikas on them, is back with a small selection of items and much lower prices. This is a big change for the brand.

Shopify took down the YEEZY store because it said the store broke its terms of service and didn’t follow “real business practices.” The move came after a lot of public anger and criticism from groups like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), who spoke out against the sale of T-shirts with swastikas on them. The controversy grew since it happened at the same time as West’s widely condemned comments on social media and a strange Super Bowl ad that told people to go to the site.
The store that has been reopened now has a smaller variety of items. YEEZY is known for its expensive products, but today you can get YEEZY Slides for just $20, and nothing costs more than $100. This new pricing plan and limited selection come after West’s past inflammatory comments, which have caused the loss of several important corporate ties over the years.
