In the caption, Beckinsale revealed a touching detail from Loe’s youth: at just 14, she had formed a harmony group with her best friends — Mary, Sylvia (“Fuz”), and Chris. “Mary unfortunately is no longer with us,” Beckinsale wrote, “but up until very recently, even in their late 70s, they would still get together and absolutely kill it.”

Trying to bring that spirit into the hospital room, Beckinsale said she sang as a “very poor substitute” to honor the legacy of the group, affectionately known as The Four Teens. “Fuz and Chris, please know I’m trying to keep the Four Teens going as best I can,” she added, calling her mom’s lifelong friendships a testament to her “extraordinary capacity for love.”

Beckinsale first revealed her mother’s diagnosis in July 2024 and took a brief break from social media to focus on family. She returned in February, asking followers for prayers, calling her mom her “most extraordinary, warrior, generous, humble, loving, irreplaceable Mama.”

Over the months, Beckinsale has shared glimpses of their time together, from bedazzled socks to heartfelt tributes, often calling Judy her “partner in crime,” “best friend,” and “keeper of precious things—including my heart.”
