The 25-year-old Italian national, who rose to global fame for his wordless reaction videos mocking overly complicated life hacks, was released the same day after agreeing to a voluntary departure from the United States. He has since exited the country.

⚠️ ICE Statement and Legal Grounds

ICE confirmed:

“Seringe Khabane Lame, an Italian citizen, was detained June 6 in Las Vegas for immigration violations. He entered the U.S. on April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa.”

There was no public response from Lame as of Tuesday morning.

🧾 Controversial Involvement and Political Undertones

The situation drew online attention when Bo Loudon, a social media influencer known to be a close aide of Barron Trump, claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that he had alerted authorities about Lame’s visa status.

“I discovered he was illegal… overstayed an invalid VISA, evaded taxes, and I personally took action to have him deported,” Loudon wrote, adding he had worked with Trump-era DHS officials to facilitate the action.

These claims come against the backdrop of a renewed immigration crackdown under President Donald Trump, who returned to office in January and has since begun executing his promised mass deportation policy — parts of which are facing legal challenges in court.
