September 6, 2025: Actor Jonathan Bailey, who has wowed audiences in hit movies including Wicked and Jurassic World Rebirth, has said he will take a break from acting to focus on his charity, The Shameless Fund. Bailey told British GQ in a recent interview that he will be taking a break from acting next year to focus on the foundation.

The actor, who has been working nonstop for three years, including starring in Bridgerton and being nominated for an Emmy for Fellow Travelers, said he needs the break to work on his passion project. The Shameless Fund raises money and supports LGBTQ+ rights and organizations through creative brand partnerships. Bailey said that these causes don’t get enough money in the UK.

Bailey has been quietly marketing the Shameless Fund throughout his recent press trips. It has already teamed up with fashion businesses and Cubitts, an eyewear manufacturer. Bailey said that the fund’s goal is to make a “real difference” by giving money to non-profits that enable LGBTQ+ people live freely and truthfully. He said that his main goal right now is to hire people for the organization and establish its infrastructure so that it can have the most effect.
