After watching the debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Harris for the 2024 Presidential Election.

Swift praised Harris as a strong leader who advocates for rights she believes in, highlighting Harris’s running mate, Tim Walz, for his long-standing support of LGBTQ+ rights and women’s rights. She also encouraged her followers, especially first-time voters, to register and participate in the election.
Harris, who made history as the first female, first Black, and first Asian American vice president, became the Democratic nominee after President Biden withdrew from the race. Swift’s endorsement reflects her continued advocacy for Democratic candidates and progressive issues, as she has been politically active since 2018. Her fanbase, known as Swifties, has rallied around Harris in this election cycle.
