Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Maheep shared a series of adorable throwback photos, including moments from her wedding where Nirmal Kapoor is seen lovingly performing rituals with her daughter-in-law. Another touching image captured a moment with Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and a newborn, all smiling beside their beloved grandmother.

Alongside the pictures, Maheep penned a simple yet poignant message: “Will miss you a lot Mama.”

Nirmal Kapoor, matriarch of one of Bollywood’s most prominent families, was the mother of Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, and Sanjay Kapoor. She passed away after a brief hospitalisation at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

Her funeral was held on May 3 at the Vile Parle Crematorium in Mumbai, attended by several Bollywood personalities, including Rani Mukerji, Farhan Akhtar, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, and Karan Johar, who came to offer their final respects.

Nirmal Kapoor’s legacy lives on through her children and grandchildren, who continue to carry forward the family’s cinematic tradition and enduring presence in the Indian film industry.
