Wimbledon 2025: Taylor Fritz Eyes First Final Spot, Backed By Girlfriend Morgan Riddle
July 11, 2025: World No. 5 Taylor Fritz is all set for the biggest match of his career as he gears up to face defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon semi-final. This marks Fritz’s first-ever Grand Slam semi-final appearance at the All England Club, and he’ll have strong support in the stands from girlfriend and influencer Morgan Riddle.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Fritz exuded confidence, citing past high-pressure matches as key experience.
“It gives me a lot of confidence that I’ve been here before, and I’ve played the pressure matches,” said the 26-year-old American. “I don’t think anything’s going to get more stressful than me playing Frances [Tiafoe] in New York for a spot in the final.”
Fritz also noted that he’s at the peak of his game right now:
“I really do think I’m a much better tennis player than I was a year ago or even two years ago. Right now I’m playing at a much higher level.”
Off the court, Fritz is a passionate gamer, particularly fond of League of Legends. He once revealed: “I’m such a competitive person, so I like to compete in other ways too. Gaming gives me that thrill when I’m not on the court.”
