XG Talks Coachella Debut, World Tour, and Future Aspirations: “Million Places” Reflects Precious Moments with Alphaz

The global girl group XG opens up about their Coachella experience, their world tour journey, and their dreams for the future as they continue to break boundaries in the global pop scene.

XG, the seven-member girl group known for their fusion of hip-hop, R&B, and dynamic performances, continues to make waves in the global pop scene. Despite their rapid rise since their 2022 debut, they recently made their Coachella debut in April, leaving a lasting impression on a new audience. In a heartfelt interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the group discussed their unforgettable Coachella experience, their recent single “Million Places,” and their exciting plans for the future.

Coachella Experience and Preparations:
The group reflected on their first Coachella performance, a dream come true for many. “We’re still not over how amazing Coachella was,” said Maya. The festival, one of the biggest in the world, was a milestone for XG. “It was one of our dream stages,” she added. Despite challenges, such as the unpredictable wind, XG poured their hearts into their performance. Chisa emphasized the hard work that went into preparing their exclusive Coachella setlist, noting that they focused on song transitions and crafted a brand-new choreography called “Shinobi.” “We practiced over and over again,” Chisa recalled. “It was fun, but very windy.”

Surprise Moments and Fan Interactions:
Cocona shared a touching moment during the performance of “Is This Love,” where the audience waved flowers and danced along, creating a sense of connection between the group and their fans. “We were more focused at Coachella compared to our recent world tour, but even with the in-ears, I could hear them cheering and singing,” she said. Juria added that the experience taught them valuable lessons, such as learning to adjust to the outdoor festival environment, from wind issues to wardrobe challenges.

Reflecting on “Million Places”:
XG’s latest single “Million Places” holds deep meaning for the group, as it encapsulates their world tour experiences and the special moments shared with their fans, Alphaz. “This song is filled with memories of what we’ve actually been through,” Jurin explained. “It’s going to be a special song.” The song is a reflection of their travels, including their time in the U.S. and Paris, and it’s designed to take Alphaz back to the world tour and relive those precious memories.

World Tour Experience and Bonding:
XG’s world tour has strengthened their bond as a group. “We worked together to build the stage. That experience gave us a deeper sense of responsibility,” said Hinata. Chisa added that the group frequently held informal “space meetings,” where they communicated openly to ensure unity throughout their journey. The world tour and Coachella, as long-held dreams, represent milestones in their career. “Everything we’ve been through is precious,” Jurin reflected. “Those small moments make us happy, and they motivate us to keep going.”

Aspirations and Dreams for the Future:
As XG looks ahead, their goals are ambitious, but they continue to embrace the journey. “The most important thing is to enjoy what we do every day,” said Harvey. “Since 2025, I’ve been feeling that. We’ve always valued enjoying the moment.” A big dream for the group is to perform at the Super Bowl, showcasing their unique talents on one of the biggest global stages.

XG’s Musical Identity and Vision:
When asked about their musical identity, Chisa shared that space and infinity are central themes in XG’s music. “Space is infinite, and nothing is impossible,” she said. “Our music embodies infinite possibilities.” The group’s sound continues to evolve, blending various genres and pushing boundaries.

Fan Connection and “Million Places”:
For Maya, the chance to connect with Alphaz during their world tour and Coachella was an emotional highlight. “Seeing so many of our Alphaz show up just to have fun and enjoy our music together means so much to us,” she said. She hopes that “Million Places” will resonate deeply with fans, as it captures the essence of their relationship with Alphaz. “I’m really excited to sing this song together,” Maya expressed, emphasizing the song’s emotional depth.

As XG continues to rise in the global music scene, their journey is marked by passion, creativity, and a deep connection with their fans. Their Coachella debut, world tour, and future aspirations showcase their commitment to delivering music that is both innovative and personal. With their eyes set on new heights, XG’s bond with Alphaz and their dedication to their craft remain at the heart of their success.
