Salman Khan recently addressed online trolling over his much-discussed look in the teaser of his upcoming war film Battle of Galwan. The actor responded to the comments while attending an Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) match in Surat on Friday evening.

The teaser, released last month, features Salman Khan rallying his troops in a tense battlefield moment, armed only with a stick as enemy soldiers advance. While the scene was meant to portray resolve and leadership, a section of social media users mocked one particular glance, labelling it as “romantic”.

Reacting to the trolling, Salman recreated the scene on the sidelines of the match and clarified the intent behind the expression. “Ab kisi ko ye samajh mein aata hai ki ye romantic look hai, lekin main Colonel hoon. Ye Colonel ka look hai,” he said. He added that the look was meant to inspire and motivate soldiers, not convey romance, stressing that such interpretations had “no meaning”.

The actor explained that a commanding officer often communicates strength and confidence through expressions, and that was exactly what the scene demanded. His candid response drew cheers from fans present at the venue.
