Model Brianna Stern files civil suit alleging physical and emotional abuse by Andrew Tate, including a violent assault at a Beverly Hills hotel; Tate denies claims, calling them “financially motivated.”
Los Angeles, March 30, 2025 — Controversial internet personality Andrew Tate has been accused of sexual violence and emotional abuse by his former partner, model Brianna Stern, in a civil lawsuit filed in Los Angeles. Stern alleged that Tate physically assaulted her during their relationship and has sought a restraining order, as reported by The Independent.

According to the lawsuit, the most severe incident occurred in March 2025 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where a consensual encounter allegedly turned violent. Stern claimed Tate choked her, struck her repeatedly, and threatened to kill her if she ever “crossed him.”

“Tate began verbally degrading Plaintiff as he routinely did — but this time it was much worse, more aggressive, and more violent,” the filing reads.
The alleged assault led Stern to seek medical treatment, where she was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. She filed the lawsuit shortly after Tate left the U.S.

In a public Instagram statement, Stern said,
“I considered many times just silently leaving Andrew… because I was scared… But I can now see that doing so would be the cowardly approach.”
Stern claimed their relationship began in 2024 after she met Tate in Romania for a modelling project. While initially drawn to his charm and generosity, she alleged that he quickly became controlling, frequently referring to her as his “property.”
“The last time I saw Andrew was on March 11… His last words to me were: ‘Shut the f*** up, b***h. You are my property.’”
Tate’s legal team has denied the allegations, calling the lawsuit a publicity stunt.
“Instead of seeking a private resolution, Ms Stern has chosen to air her false claims in the press… her motives are money and attention, not justice,” said his lawyer, Joseph McBride.
Meanwhile, Tate continues to face multiple legal battles across jurisdictions. He recently returned to Romania, where he and his brother Tristan Tate are under investigation for human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and money laundering. A separate case in Bedfordshire, UK, could see him extradited on charges of rape and trafficking dating back to 2012–2015.
Tate, a former kickboxer turned influencer, has frequently been criticized for promoting misogynistic views online.
