YouTuber Armaan Malik and his two wives, Payal and Kritika, have been summoned by a Patiala district court to appear on September 2.
August 13, 2025: Armaan Malik, a popular YouTuber and former participant on Bigg Boss OTT 3, and his two wives, Payal and Kritika Malik, are in legal jeopardy after a Patiala district court ordered them to appear on September 2. The summons are because two different people have filed suits against the three.
Summons were sent out because Davinder Rajput asked for them. The person who filed the case says that Armaan Malik has been married four times, not twice, which would be against the Hindu Marriage Act. According to the Act, a person who follows Hinduism can only be married to one person at a time.
The suit says that Armaan and his first wife, Payal Malik, injured religious feelings in addition to the bigamy claims. The complaint says that Payal was dressed as the Hindu goddess Kali in a video that was shared on Instagram. The person who filed the complaint says that this has angered the public and is against Indian law.
After the video caused a lot of trouble, Armaan and Payal Malik are said to have done things in public to make up for it. They went to the Kali Mata Temple in Patiala on July 22 to pray and say they were sorry. The next day, they went to a different Kali temple in Kharar, Mohali, where Payal is claimed to have done a seven-day religious penance that included cleaning the temple and taking part in rites. The couple also went to Haridwar to ask Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashanand Giri of the Niranjani Akhara for pardon. During this time, Payal’s condition got worse, and she had to go to the hospital in Mohali.
