YRF and Mohit Suri Join Forces for 'Saiyaara': A New-Age Romance Set for July 2025 Release

Bollywood’s powerhouse production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) has officially announced the title of its much-awaited romantic drama with director Mohit Suri – “Saiyaara.” The film is now set for a global theatrical release on July 18, 2025.
Marking the first production under YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani’s leadership, “Saiyaara” is presented by studio head Aditya Chopra and aims to usher in a new era of cinematic romance. The film also introduces promising newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in lead roles, generating significant buzz as one of Bollywood’s most anticipated debuts of 2025.
Derived from a poetic term for soulmates or eternal companions, the title “Saiyaara” captures the emotional essence of the film — a journey of intense, heartfelt love.
With Mohit Suri at the helm, the film is expected to bear his signature touch: emotionally charged narratives, bittersweet romance, and youth-centric storytelling. Suri, whose previous blockbusters include Aashiqui 2, Ek Villain, and Malang, brings two decades of hit-making experience in the romantic thriller space.
