July 6, 2025: Team India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been making headlines not just for his on-field performances but also for his personal life. Rumors have been swirling about his relationship with popular RJ Mahvash following his divorce from Dhanashree Verma earlier this year. Now, Chahal has seemingly confirmed the romance during a recent episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Chahal appeared alongside fellow cricketer Rishabh Pant and Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir on the show. During a light-hearted segment, comedian Kiku Sharda jokingly asked Chahal about the mystery girl in his life, to which Chahal replied with a smile, “India jaan chuka hai, 4 mahine pehle” (“India knows, since four months ago”). Though he didn’t explicitly name Mahvash, the response was enough to convince fans and netizens that he acknowledged the relationship publicly for the first time.
The show’s panel, including Navjot Singh Sidhu, had some fun teasing the spinner about his love life. Sidhu remarked, “Sawaal paida nahi hota ki team badal de. Chalo girlfriend ek adh badal deta hai,” poking fun at how Chahal might be changing his personal partnerships.
The romance rumors began gaining traction around the time Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s marriage encountered difficulties, leading to their divorce in March 2025. Since then, Mahvash has been frequently spotted accompanying Chahal at various events, including IPL 2025 matches where she was seen supporting Chahal’s Punjab Kings team and mingling with the families of players.
Despite their public appearances together, Mahvash had earlier described herself as “single and happy” in an interview, which left fans confused about the exact nature of their relationship.
