17 Year Old Becomes Youngest Girl to Conquer the World’s Seven Highest Peaks: Read On

“At Just 17, Kaamya Karthikeyan Achieves the Remarkable Feat of Scaling the Tallest Mountains on All Seven Continents”

December 30, 2024: New Delhi: In a historic achievement, Kaamya Karthikeyan, a 17-year-old Class 12 student from Navy Children School, Mumbai, has become the youngest female in the world to successfully scale the seven highest peaks across seven continents.

Kaamya’s incredible journey includes conquering:

  • Africa: Mt Kilimanjaro
  • Europe: Mt Elbrus
  • Australia: Mt Kosciuszko
  • South America: Mt Aconcagua
  • North America: Mt Denali
  • Asia: Mt Everest
  • Antarctica: Mt Vinson

On December 24, 2024, Kaamya reached the summit of Mt Vinson in Antarctica, alongside her father, Commander S. Karthikeyan, at 5:20 PM Chilean Standard Time, completing the prestigious Seven Summits Challenge.

A Journey of Dedication and Determination:

Kaamya started her mountaineering journey at the tender age of 7, with her first trek in Uttarakhand. At just 16, she scaled the world’s tallest peak, Mount Everest. Her unwavering determination and resilience have now earned her a place in global mountaineering history.

The Indian Navy took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate Kaamya and her father:
