From Irfan Pathan To Virender Sehwag, Cricket Stars Extend Heartwarming Wishes On Diwali

October 31, 2024: Cricket fraternity including Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami, KL Rahul, Virender Sehwag and Irfan Pathan on Thursday extended best wishes on the ocassion of Diwali.

Star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant shared his wishes for “happiness and joy” on his official X handle, hoping the festival brings peace and prosperity to everyone.

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan hoped that this festival of lights will bring joy to people’s heart.

“Wishing everyone a Diwali filled with light, love, and endless blessings. May this festival of lights bring joy to your heart, peace to your home, and success to your path. Let’s celebrate the triumph of light over darkness and spread happiness far and wide,” Irfan Pathan wrote on X.

Pacer Mohammed Shami expressed similar sentiments on Instagram, wishing that the divine light of Diwali brings peace and joy into people’s lives.

KL Rahul added warmth and blessings to his message, encouraging fans to embrace the spirit of the festival.

Former cricketer Virender Sehwag wished for a “sparkling and cracker of a Deepawali,” hoping it brings joy and happiness to all. Irfan Pathan highlighted the festival’s significance, wishing for light, love, and success in everyone’s lives.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also extended warm greetings, wishing everyone a very Happy Diwali.

Diwali, known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated with prayers to Goddess Lakshmi, sharing sweets, exchanging gifts, and fireworks that illuminate the night sky, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
