Panaji (Goa) [India]: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated a two-day Youtubers Conclave themed “Building Development Narrative through Youtubing: Challenges and Opportunities,” on Thursday at Panaji.
The event was organized in collaboration with the Goa Government and hosted by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini at Panaji and brought together YouTube influencers from across the country.
Addressing the gathering, CM Sawant emphasized the role of Youtubers in driving positive change in society. He highlighted their unique capacity to connect with people and praised their efforts in becoming influential opinion-makers, particularly in areas such as policy, technology, governance, development, and infrastructure.
Sawant also shared the ambitious plan of transforming Panaji into a Solar City.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, President of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Vice Chairman of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, spoke about the importance of enlightening society through information and assessment.
Sahasrabuddhe commended Youtubers for taking up the work of enlightenment and thanked the Goa Government for its support in organizing the conclave.
The event saw the presence of dignitaries including Jayant Kulkarni, Executive Director of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini; Ajinkya Kulkarni, a technology professional and social media integrator; and Ankita Mishra, IAS, CEO of ESG, among others.
Youtubers from across India, curated by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, actively participated in the conclave. Goa’s very own Youtuber, Sawani Shetye, was also a prominent participant, contributing to the vibrant discussions and sessions.
CM Sawant also unveiled an E-booklet dedicated to the conclave.
The Youtubers Conclave serves as a platform for creators, influencers, and thought leaders to collectively explore avenues for fostering a progressive development narrative through the power of Youtubing.
