Gurdas Maan Released First Track Titled “Main Hi Jhoothi” From Album ‘Sound of Soil’

Punjabi legend Gurdas Maan has unveiled the first track, “Main Hi Jhoothi,” from his album ‘Sound of Soil’. The song, featuring popular actress Shivangi Joshi, showcases the duo’s dance moves and combines soulful storytelling with a touch of traditional Punjabi beats. Composed by Jatinder Shah and presented by Sai Productions and Speed Records, this album is set to feature nine evocative tracks, each deeply rooted in cultural heritage and tradition.

Expressing his excitement, Gurdas Maan shared, “Each song in this album carries the essence of our traditions and the stories of our people, woven together with love and respect for the soil that nurtured me.” He emphasized how the album reflects a strong connection to roots and heritage, and hopes that these songs will remind listeners of the importance of staying true to their origins.

Music composer Jatinder Shah, who has collaborated with Maan for over a decade, called it an “extraordinary journey,” praising Maan’s ability to capture the essence of Punjabi culture in each track. He remarked that working with Gurdas Maan goes beyond music creation—it’s about producing something timeless, steeped in tradition and love for the homeland.

Gurdas Maan’s ‘Sound of Soil’ album follows in the footsteps of his iconic discography, which includes hits like “Ki Banu Duniya Da,” “Challa,” and “Boot Polishan.” Known for his dynamic performances and deep connection to Punjabi folklore, this album promises to continue his legacy of blending tradition with contemporary sounds, captivating audiences across generations.
