The first phase of voting began in Uttar Pradesh today, meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi already started his second phase of the polling campaign in UP. While addressing the rally in Saharanpur PM also mentioned Muslim women in the wake of the ongoing Hijab row.
In his speech PM said, “Our government stands with ‘Har Majloom’, every victim Muslim woman. Those people are tricking Muslim sisters so that the life of Muslim daughters is always behind.”
While talking about the rights of Muslim women, PM said that his party is relentlessly working for the women and when these women see their work and intentions and follow their idea, it irks the patriarchal stakeholders of the clan.
Taking a dig at the Samajwadi Party and Congress, PM in his rally, said, “A whole ‘Parivaar-Vaad’ party is fake promising UP public. Remember if someone promises big, they’re usually empty, irresponsible promises. They promised electricity but kept UP in dark & illuminated their residing district. Left Saharanpur & other districts for themselves.”
The Prime Minister again during his speech reassured the farmers that his party is devoted to working for their welfare. “BJP govt in Uttar Pradesh is very important to ensure small farmers keep on availing benefits of PM Kisan Yojana.”
The first phase of voting will end today at 6 pm. After which the second phase of voting will begin on February 14th.
