Harbhajan Singh Apologizes After Controversial Tauba Tauba Trend Video

India Champions recently clinched the final of the inaugural World Championship of Legends (WCL) by defeating Pakistan Champions. After the match, former cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, and Yuvraj Singh joined the ongoing Tauba Tauba trend and created a reel.

In the video, they humorously limped while dancing to the popular song. However, their reel was met with backlash from a section of social media users, who criticized the players for mocking disabled people.

On Monday, Harbhajan took to Instagram to issue an apology and clarify their intentions. He explained that the players had no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings.

“Just wanted to clear to our people who are complaining about our recent videos of Tauba Tauba on social media after winning the championship here in England. We didn’t want to hurt anyone’s sentiments. We respect every individual and community. This video was just to reflect our bodies after playing continuous cricket for 15 days. SORE bodies… we are not trying to insult or offend anyone… still, if people think we have done something wrong,” he wrote.

Harbhajan added, “All I can say from my side is SORRY to everyone… please let’s stop this here and move forward. Stay happy and healthy. Love to all.”

The incident highlights the importance of sensitivity on social media and the need for public figures to be mindful of their actions and their potential impact on diverse audiences.
