Amidst her fight with Stage 3 breast cancer, actress Hina Khan shares a motivational message, offering a glimpse into her journey and inspiring those facing similar battles. On Sunday, Hina took to Instagram to post, “A window to my journey. This is to all those courageous women and men who are fighting this tough battle… I wish my journey can be courageous and motivating enough for people out there to turn a page in their own stories for good. And remember we may be SCARRED but we MUST not be SCARED. #Scarrednotscared.”
Reacting to the outpouring of support from fans and celebrities, Hina expressed her gratitude on Instagram with a note saying, “This too shall pass,” accompanied by a smile and heart emoji. She also added the uplifting song ‘Kar Har Maidaan Fateh’ from Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Sanju” to her story.
On June 28, Hina confirmed her diagnosis of stage three breast cancer. She reassured her followers, stating, “Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me.
I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.”
She continued, “I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive. With the grace of the almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and will be completely healthy. Hina Khan, widely recognized for her role in “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” and her portrayal of Komolika in “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” has recently starred in “Shinda Shinda No Papa” and the comedy-drama series “Namacool,” directed by Ritam Shrivastava. Reflecting on her experience shooting in Lucknow for “Namacool,” Hina said, “It was a lovely experience shooting in Lucknow. I absolutely loved my stay in the city. The people there were really warm, and the food was absolutely lip-smacking. I enjoyed trying out all the local delicacies that the cast and crew made me try. Overall, it was a great experience shooting there.” The series, set in Lucknow, follows two friends, Mayank and Piyush, as they seek fame and popularity in their second year of college.
