'Barbie'Margot Robbie Welcomes First Child with Husband Tom Ackerley
November 3, 2024: Hollywood star Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, are celebrating the arrival of their first child together. The Barbie actress and her partner have welcomed a baby boy, as confirmed by PEOPLE. While the couple has yet to reveal further details, including the baby’s name and exact birthdate, reports suggest that Robbie gave birth on October 17.
According to the Daily Mail, Robbie went into labor two weeks prior to her due date, but both mother and baby are reportedly in good health.
Robbie, renowned for her roles in films like I, Tonya and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, first sparked excitement about her pregnancy in July when she appeared at Wimbledon with Ackerley, proudly showing her baby bump.
Since then, the actress has been spotted in stylish maternity outfits, embracing her journey to motherhood during getaways to beautiful destinations.
She is also best known for her playing the character of ‘Barbie’.
This marks the first child for both Robbie and Ackerley, who met on the set of the WWII drama Suite Française in 2013, where Ackerley worked as an assistant director. The couple’s relationship blossomed, leading to a private wedding ceremony in Australia three years later.
As they step into this new chapter, Robbie is expected to take a break from acting to focus on family life, although she will continue her involvement in production projects.
