Brad Pitt’s Former Body Double Sentenced to 16 Years for Sexual Offences

Luke Ford, 35, convicted of 19 charges including rape and violence, targeted nine women over a 12-year period in Scotland’s first prosecution of its kind.

December 19, 2024: Luke Ford, a 35-year-old actor from Stirling, Scotland, who once claimed to have been a body double for Brad Pitt during the filming of World War Z, has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a series of sexual and physical offences. The case, considered Scotland’s first prosecution of its kind, exposed a 12-year campaign of abuse against nine women.

Ford was convicted of 19 charges, including sexual assault, rape, violence, threats, and abusive behaviour. The High Court in Edinburgh also imposed an extended sentence of 21 years, with Ford serving 16 years in custody followed by strict conditions upon release.

A Disturbing Pattern of Abuse

Ford used his claims of working with Brad Pitt to gain the trust of his victims. One of the most shocking revelations involved his conviction on seven rape charges, including an act of “stealthing,” a term used to describe removing a condom without the partner’s knowledge or consent.

The court was told that Ford’s 12-year spree of offending, which spanned from 2008 to 2020, targeted nine women. Non-harassment orders have been issued, banning Ford from contacting any of his victims.

Police Statement and Victim Support

Speaking after the sentencing, Detective Inspector Steven Gray described Ford as a “dangerous and manipulative sexual predator.” He commended the bravery of the victims, stating, “Their testimonies played a crucial role in ensuring Ford’s conviction. I hope that knowing he is behind bars brings some relief and closure to those affected.”
