Trump Takes Swipe at Taylor Swift While Celebrating Eagles' Super Bowl 2025 Victory at White House
April 29, 2024: Trump Takes Dig at Taylor Swift During Eagles’ White House Visit After Super Bowl Win
President Donald Trump couldn’t resist taking a jab at Taylor Swift while celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl 2025 victory at the White House on Monday.

The Eagles, minus quarterback Jalen Hurts and a few other players, visited 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to mark their commanding 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9.
During his speech, Trump said,
“I was there along with Taylor Swift. How did that work out?”
The comment, which prompted laughter from the crowd, was a not-so-subtle reminder of the Chiefs’ loss despite Swift’s high-profile attendance.
Trump, the 47th U.S. President, had attended the game alongside his children Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, while Swift was there supporting her boyfriend, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.
Despite arriving at the Super Bowl as two-time defending champions, the Chiefs were overwhelmed by the Eagles. Swift, who appeared on the jumbotron at the Caesars Superdome, was even booed by fans, responding with an intense side-eye that quickly went viral.
Trump’s latest swipe at Swift follows a history of animosity. After Swift endorsed Kamala Harris ahead of the 2024 presidential election, Trump lashed out on his Truth Social platform, declaring:
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Trump’s comments at the White House once again highlight the ongoing clash between politics and celebrity culture, especially as Swift continues to wield significant influence beyond the music world.
