“She wanted to punish Brad, and she stalled the divorce until he was worn down enough to agree to her terms,” an insider revealed to Radar Online. Jolie reportedly walked away with a significant financial boost, including $11.5 million from selling a Winston Churchill painting gifted to her by Pitt in 2011. “She’s emerged from this divorce far wealthier than she was before,” the source added.

Custody and Family Dynamics

The former couple’s 2016 split was further complicated by Jolie’s resistance to Pitt’s requests for joint custody of their six children: Maddox (23), Pax (21), Zahara (20), Shiloh (18), and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Reports suggest that Jolie’s actions have led to a strained relationship between Pitt and his children. “Angelina has succeeded in alienating most of their kids from Brad. The four oldest have almost no contact with him,” the insider claimed.

While Knox and Vivienne are still bound by the custody arrangement, the source speculates that Jolie may influence their decision to distance themselves from Pitt once they turn 18. Additionally, the four oldest children are rumored to have dropped “Pitt” from their last names.

Ongoing Château Miraval Dispute

The bitter split also encompasses an ongoing legal battle over Château Miraval, a French winery the former couple co-owned. While Pitt continues to fight for his share, insiders claim he’s relieved to finally move past the divorce proceedings.

New Beginnings for Pitt

As Jolie and Pitt’s legal disputes continue to unravel, sources close to the actor say he is focused on the future. “Brad is ready to start fresh and is planning to marry Ines (34-year-old jewelry designer Ines de Ramon) later this year,” an insider disclosed.

The drawn-out divorce saga has left a lasting mark on the Jolie-Pitt family, with fans closely watching how the high-profile legal battle continues to unfold.
