Diddy Combs’ Former Assistant Testifies in Sex-Trafficking Trial, Claims Kidnapping and Violent Assault

New York, May 28 — Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex-trafficking and racketeering trial in New York took a gripping turn on Tuesday as his former assistant Capricorn Clark delivered explosive testimony, alleging that Diddy Combs kidnapped her at gunpoint in 2011 and took her to rapper Kid Cudi’s home with intentions of murder.

Clark, who has years of experience in the music industry with roles at Def Jam, BET Films, and as Combs’ personal assistant, painted a chilling picture of that night in December 2011. According to her, Diddy Combs forced her into an SUV and drove to Kid Cudi’s Hollywood Hills residence. “Combs got me with a gun and brought me to Mescudi’s house to kill him,” she told the packed courtroom.

During the tense proceedings, Clark detailed how Diddy Combs and another man broke into Kid Cudi’s home, and later, as they drove away, gave chase when they spotted Cudi’s Porsche approaching. She said they eventually fled the scene upon hearing police sirens. The horror didn’t end there, Clark testified — she claimed that once they returned home, Diddy Combs beat Cassie Ventura mercilessly outside his residence, with Cassie curled up in the street in a fetal position.

Diddy Combs, the 55-year-old music mogul and Bad Boy Records founder, was charged in September with sex-trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and faces up to life in prison if convicted.

On cross-examination, the defense pressed Clark on the accuracy of her story, focusing on who she called first during the incident and why. Despite the intense questioning, Clark told jurors that Diddy Combs ordered them to convince Kid Cudi not to go to the police. “If you don’t convince him it wasn’t me, I’ll kill all of you,” she quoted Combs as saying.

Clark’s day in court was marked by emotional swings. At first, she answered briskly, sometimes even defiantly, but by the afternoon, she was crying, apologizing to the judge, and sharing how she felt trapped working for Diddy Combs again in 2016 despite the trauma. “He holds all the power as it relates to me,” she said, citing her desperation to provide for her autistic son.

The defense also read out emails Clark had sent to Diddy Combs, pleading for his forgiveness and another chance at employment. “I needed to tell him I was valuable and not disposable,” she said tearfully.

In addition, Clark shed light on her strained working relationship with Cassie Ventura, whom she described as evolving from a sweet young singer to a “demanding girlfriend” as her romance with Diddy Combs deepened.

The trial continues as prosecutors dig deeper into Diddy Combs’ alleged reign of terror and the defense attempts to poke holes in Clark’s credibility, setting the stage for a high-stakes courtroom showdown.
