October 9, 2024: Vedang Raina, who is eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film Jigra opposite Alia Bhatt, recently shared some light-hearted moments about his experience working with Suhana Khan on the set of The Archies.
During an interview, Vedang discussed both the qualities he admired and the quirks he "tolerated" about Suhana, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan.
In a candid conversation with Galatta India, Vedang revealed that one thing he appreciated about Suhana was her warmth and how she treated everyone on set. However, he humorously recalled how the boys in the cast, including himself and Agastya Nanda, often had to wait for Suhana as her hair and makeup team would frequently step in during takes to fix her look.
"She used to take the longest to get ready on set," Vedang said, laughing. "While the guys would be ready in 15 minutes, we would sometimes have to wait an extra 40 minutes just for Suhana to get her hair and makeup done." He added that there were times when the shoot would be paused because her team insisted on fixing her hair mid-scene. However, Vedang was quick to clarify that it wasn’t Suhana’s fault—it was simply a requirement of the film.
Despite the occasional delays, Vedang expressed admiration for Suhana's warm personality and their strong camaraderie during their Bollywood debut together in The Archies.
