Carrey’s 10,954-square-foot estate was originally listed for $28.9 million in early 2023 but underwent multiple price cuts before being revised to $19.75 million. The sprawling residence, featuring five bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and amenities like a waterfall pool, an art deco theatre, and a tennis court, has been Jim Carrey’s home for nearly three decades.

The sale of the mansion, which had recently attracted a buyer, is now in limbo as the wildfires pose an imminent threat. When listing the home, Carrey described it as a sanctuary he no longer uses frequently. "For three decades, it’s been a sanctuary for me, but I want someone else to enjoy it like I have," he told the New York Post.
