The flames, which have spread rapidly through Malibu and the surrounding areas, have devastated properties and forced mass evacuations.

Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton, 43, watched in horror as her seafront Malibu home burned to the ground on live television. Sharing her heartbreak on Instagram, Hilton wrote, “My heart aches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable.” She later shared a video of her five Pomeranians in the back of a car as she sought refuge in a hotel.
Anthony Hopkins
Two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, best known for The Silence of the Lambs, reportedly lost his luxurious home in Malibu. Pictures circulating online appear to show his property reduced to ashes, though Hopkins has yet to comment publicly.
