Los Angeles Wild Fire Devastation- Homes of Paris Hilton, Mark Hamill, and More Burn To Ashes
January 10, 2025: The Los Angeles wildfires have wreaked havoc across the region, destroying more than 1,000 structures and leaving countless families homeless, including some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. The flames, which have spread rapidly through Malibu and the surrounding areas, have devastated properties and forced mass evacuations.

Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton, 43, watched in horror as her seafront Malibu home burned to the ground on live television. Sharing her heartbreak on Instagram, Hilton wrote, “My heart aches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable.” She later shared a video of her five Pomeranians in the back of a car as she sought refuge in a hotel.
Two-time Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, best known for The Silence of the Lambs, reportedly lost his luxurious home in Malibu. Pictures circulating online appear to show his property reduced to ashes, though Hopkins has yet to comment publicly.

Actor Jeff Bridges, renowned for The Big Lebowski, confirmed through a representative that his Malibu home was destroyed in the fire. The family is said to be safe but deeply shaken by the loss.
Comedian and actor Billy Crystal (When Harry Met Sally) revealed that his home of 46 years was reduced to rubble, leaving only a tennis court behind. “Words cannot describe the enormity of the devastation we are witnessing and experiencing,” Crystal said in a joint statement with his wife, Janice.
Schitt’s Creek and American Pie star Eugene Levy lost his home, which had been located in a celebrity-studded neighbourhood. Levy reportedly drove through thick black smoke to evacuate before the fire engulfed his property.
Actor John Goodman (Roseanne) also lost his home, as confirmed by photos showing smoldering debris. Goodman has yet to issue a public statement on the matter.
Star Wars legend Mark Hamill, 73, fled his Malibu home with his wife and dog, escaping through a road flanked by active fires. While Hamill has not confirmed the fate of his home, he described the scene as a narrow escape for his family.
Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey’s home was completely destroyed, her daughter Stella Gregg confirmed on Instagram. Grey is reported to be safe but devastated by the loss.
Cary Elwes, star of The Princess Bride, lost his home to the fires after evacuating with his family. Elwes shared videos of the apocalyptic blaze, describing the destruction as “biblical.”
The Hollywood couple—Adam Brody (The OC) and Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl)—also lost their Pacific Palisades home. Photos obtained by media outlets showed the property engulfed in flames.
Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash star Miles Teller reportedly lost his home to the wildfire. Neither Teller nor his wife, Keleigh Teller, have commented publicly on the loss.
Veteran actor James Woods shared a video on social media showing flames surrounding his Pacific Palisades home. “It feels like losing a loved one,” the 77-year-old wrote in a heartfelt post.
Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis evacuated her home and shared her grief over the destruction of her neighbourhood. “Our beloved neighborhood is gone,” she wrote on Instagram, adding that her home was spared. Curtis pledged $1 million to support those affected by the wildfires.
The Los Angeles wildfires have left a deep scar on the city and its people, with both residents and celebrities facing unimaginable losses. As relief efforts continue, the community is coming together to rebuild what the flames have taken away.
