Actors Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar tied the knot on February 10, 2005, in Hyderabad after falling in love on the sets of the 2000 film Vamsi. Twenty years later, their bond seems stronger than ever, as evident from Mahesh’s loving anniversary post for his wife.
Mahesh shared a candid photo of himself and Namrata laughing together on Instagram. Captioning the picture, he wrote, “You, me and 20 beautiful years…To forever with you NSG ❤️.” The post garnered a wave of admiration from fans and celebrities alike.

Actress Sonali Bendre, who starred alongside Mahesh in Murari (2001), commented with emojis of champagne glasses and hearts. Twinkle Khanna and Viranica Manchu also sent their warm wishes, with Viranica writing, “Happiest anniversary to both you ❤️ Stay blessed always. Here’s to a lifetime of love and joy.”
Namrata’s sister, actor Shilpa Shirodkar, penned an emotional note alongside a throwback picture of the couple. Calling them “the most adorable couple,” she praised their love, saying, “Every moment I witness of you two defines the true meaning of friendship, companionship, and pure love. My Chin found her soulmate in Mahesh, the incredible husband that he is.”
Expressing her joy for their journey, Shilpa wished them “happiness, laughter, and love,” celebrating their role as loving parents and partners.
On the professional front, Mahesh was last seen in the blockbuster Guntur Kaaram (2024), directed by Trivikram Srinivas, alongside Ramya Krishnan and Sreeleela. Currently, he is shooting for SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project SSMB 29. While details are under wraps, reports suggest Priyanka Chopra may star opposite him in this film set to showcase a grand cinematic vision.
