December 18, 2024: Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, who tied the knot on December 4 in a grand wedding ceremony in Hyderabad, have finally spoken about their relationship. In a recent interview with The New York Times, the couple revealed details of their early days of dating, including Naga’s spontaneous flight to Mumbai for a special lunch date.
From Instagram to Mumbai
Naga shared that their first interactions began on Instagram. Not being a fan of texting, he decided to take action early. “A couple of weeks after we started talking, I took an hour-long flight to Mumbai just for a lunch date with her at Pali Village Café,” said Naga, highlighting his preference for in-person connections over digital communication.
The Grand Wedding
The duo celebrated their wedding in Hyderabad’s iconic Annapurna Studios, surrounded by close friends and family. Photos shared by Naga’s father, Nagarjuna, on X (formerly Twitter) captured the emotional celebration. “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me,” Nagarjuna wrote, welcoming Sobhita into the family.
