October 12, 2024: On October 11, BTS member Jin released his long-awaited digital single “Super Tuna,” a lively dance track inspired by his love for fishing. Fans were first treated to a snippet of the song through a surprise performance video on December 4, 2021, during Jin’s birthday celebrations, where it quickly went viral due to its playful choreography and catchy beats.
The full release of “Super Tuna” is now accompanied by a fun and whimsical music video, allowing fans to enjoy Jin’s humorous and light-hearted side once again. Known for his charismatic personality, Jin’s latest track showcases his ability to combine humour with a catchy melody, which has earned him admiration from ARMYs around the world.
This marks one of Jin’s first official activities following his discharge from the military in June 2024. Since then, anticipation has been building around his upcoming projects, including his involvement in Netflix’s variety show, Kian’s Bizarre B&B. Announced in August, the show will see Jin joining Ji Ye Eun and host Kian84 in a unique setting on Ulleungdo, where they will operate a special homestay.
Fans are excited to see Jin return to the entertainment world, as his variety show appearances—whether in BTS’s “Run Jin” segments or MBC’s “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island”—have made him a fan favourite. As he embarks on this new chapter of his career, Super Tuna serves as a light-hearted and refreshing reminder of Jin’s versatility and charm.
