“India Celebrates Their Well-Deserved Achievement With Immense Excitement”: PM Modi Congratulates Asian Para Games Medalists

Hangzhou [China] : Following India’s success at the ongoing Asian Para Games in Hangzhou on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated all the medalists who have clinched medals at the para multi-sports event.

PM Modi took to his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account and congratulated Pushpendra Singh for winning the bronze medal in the Men’s Javelin F64 event and said that his exceptional performance has brought immense honour to our nation.

“Congratulations to Pushpendra Singh on the Bronze Medal in the Men’s Javelin F64 event at the Asian Para Games. His exceptional performance, focus and will to win have brought immense honour to our nation,” Modi wrote on X.

While congratulating Bhavina Patel, the PM said that her extraordinary talent and steadfast commitment have brought immense pride to our nation.

“A true inspiration for budding athletes! Congratulations to @BhavinaOfficial on winning the Bronze Medal in Table Tennis Women’s Singles – Class 4 event. Her extraordinary talent and steadfast commitment have brought immense pride to our nation,” PM Modi wrote on X.

PM Modi wished Narayan Thakur for winning the Bronze medal in the T-37 200-meter Asian Para Games event and said that his unwavering spirit has brought honour to the nation.

“Compliments to @Narayan38978378 for bringing home the Bronze Medal in Men’s 200m T35 at the Asian Para Games. His incredible sprint and unwavering spirit have brought honour to our nation,” Modi wrote.

Narendra Modi congratulated Shreyansh Trivedi for his unwavering determination to win the bronze medal.

“What a Brilliant Bronze for Shreyansh Trivedi in the T-37 200-meter Asian Para Games event. Shreyansh’s speed and unwavering determination have delighted the nation. Truly remarkable accomplishment,” Modi wrote.

Modi congratulated Pramod Bhagat and Manisha Ramadass and said that India celebrates this remarkable achievement with pride beyond measure.

“Congratulations to the dynamic duo of @PramodBhagat83 and Manisha Ramadass for securing the Bronze Medal in the Badminton Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5 event at the Asian Para Games. India celebrates this remarkable achievement with pride beyond measure,” he wrote.

Following Harvinder Singh and Sahil’s bronze medal in Men’s Doubles Recurve, PM Modi wrote their incredible performance and precision with the arrow have made India proud.

“Congratulations to our Para Archers, @ArcherHarvinder and Sahil, for winning the Bronze medal in Men’s Doubles Recurve – Open at the Asian Para Games. Their incredible performance and precision with the arrow have made India proud. India celebrates their well-deserved achievement with immense excitement,” he wrote.

Modi congratulated Sandeep Dangi for securing the Bronze Medal in Table Tennis Men’s Singles and said that India rejoices in this success.

“Well done Sandeep Dangi for securing the Bronze Medal in Table Tennis Men’s Singles – Class 1 event. His exceptional skill and dedication have brought honour to our nation. India rejoices in this success,” he wrote.

In the ongoing Asian Para Games, India has won 55 medals so far, consisting of 14 gold, 19 silver and 22 bronze medals.

35 of these medals have come in athletics, with 12 golds and silvers each and 11 bronze medals.

India’s performance in the 2018 games in Indonesia, which earned them 15 gold, 24 silver, 33 bronze and a total of 72 medals, is their best so far.

The fourth edition of the Para Asian Games started on October 22 and will conclude on October 28.
