The show’s format involves inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs pitching their innovative products to a live audience and a panel of professional buyers, aiming to turn their local products into national sensations within just 90 seconds. The Indian adaptation will preserve the essence of the original show, with an emphasis on “local ingenuity and creativity” and a chance for “Made in India” products to shine.
Sabrina Duguet, EVP of APAC at All3Media International, expressed confidence in the Indian version’s potential, noting how the show’s positive and dynamic energy has sparked interest globally. Mitesh Patel, COO of Rose Audio Visuals, highlighted that this marks a new step into unscripted content for their company, which has primarily focused on fiction and scripted formats.
Though the network or streaming platform for the Indian edition is yet to be announced, the show’s upcoming adaptation will align with the current wave of entrepreneurship and innovation in India, offering contestants a chance to become household names through their inventions.
This deal marks Rose Audio Visuals’ move into unscripted formats, and more details about the Indian adaptation of “Buy It Now” are eagerly awaited.
