India’s Cricket Team Kicks Off Their Practice Sessions In Preparation For Second Test Against Bangladesh

Team India has begun their practice session in Kanpur ahead of the second Test against Bangladesh. The match will take place at Green Park Stadium from Friday, September 27, with India leading the two-match series 1-0.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared visuals from the nets session, featuring key players like captain Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah.

India secured a dominant victory in the first Test, winning by 280 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin stood out with both bat and ball, scoring 113 runs and taking 6 wickets for 88 runs.

Shubman Gill contributed a remarkable unbeaten 119, while Rishabh Pant added 109 runs. Bumrah’s strong bowling figures (4/50 and 1/24) were also pivotal in dismantling Bangladesh.

With the same squad retained for the second Test, India will be aiming for another commanding performance to seal the series.
