Jeremy Renner Joins ‘Knives Out 3

Jeremy Renner is making a strong comeback, joining Daniel Craig in Rian Johnson’s ‘Knives Out 3,’ officially titled ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,’ reports The Hollywood Reporter. Renner will star alongside Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, Kerry Washington, Josh O’Connor, and Cailee Spaeny.

Directed by Rian Johnson, with production by Johnson and Ram Bergman, the film will feature another intriguing murder case with detective Benoit Blanc (Craig) returning to solve it. Netflix has confirmed that the film will begin production soon. This addition continues the franchise’s tradition of featuring an ensemble cast in captivating mystery plots.

Renner, known for his role as Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is continuing his return to Hollywood after a serious snowplow accident last year. His involvement in ‘Knives Out 3’ marks a significant step in his recovery and return to the big screen. The first two ‘Knives Out’ films were massive hits, setting high expectations for this new installment.

The original ‘Knives Out’ from Lionsgate hit theaters in 2019 and collected more than USD 310 million at the worldwide box office. It featured an ensemble cast including Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Christopher Plummer. The success of these films has paved the way for the continued expansion of the franchise, with fans eagerly awaiting the next mystery Benoit Blanc will unravel.
