October 12, 2024: Bollywood star Kajol is fully immersed in the Durga Puja festivities, with husband Ajay Devgn and son Yug. However, things took a dramatic turn when Kajol became upset at some guests entering the pandal wearing shoes, leading to a moment that has since gone viral. As the celebrations continue, more Bollywood stars, including Alia Bhatt, have been spotted at the pandal, with the crowds swelling each day.
In a now-viral Instagram video, Kajol, dressed elegantly in a saree, was seen visibly frustrated as she noticed some attendees wearing shoes inside the sacred space. Taking charge of the situation, she addressed the crowd, saying, “Side ho jaiye, aapke joote hai. No shoes please.” She even took the microphone to repeat her request, emphasising, “Everybody who is wearing shoes please move aside. All of you please have respect for puja.”
While Kajol was stern in her instructions, Alia Bhatt, who was present during the incident, remained quietly composed, looking down during the moment. After Kajol walked away, Alia and Tanishaa Mukerji were spotted sharing a hearty laugh, seemingly finding humour in the situation.
