In a new video shared on Netflix’s YouTube channel, Karan Johar explained that Riddhima had accidentally spilled a glass of wine on Shalini’s dress during a dinner in Mauritius and later apologized for the mishap. However, the apology scene was cut from the final version of the show due to visibility issues during nighttime filming.
The incident created a stir between the two socialites and became a point of contention in the show. Shalini, recounting the event in the video, shared that while she received an apology from Riddhima two days after the incident, she still remembers the way she was “made to feel” in that moment. She added that although she meets Riddhima at social gatherings, it may take time for her to fully move past the experience.
Shalini Passi, an art collector, has emerged as one of the most compelling personalities in the latest season of the show, showcasing confidence in her choices and a unique lifestyle. Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives is currently streaming on Netflix.
