Delhi is gearing up for the latest edition of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) 2024 in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), scheduled to begin on October 9, 2024, at The Grand Hotel.
This season’s opener will feature Pero, a label founded by designer Aneeth Arora, celebrating its 15th anniversary. The collection promises a nostalgic theme, merging childhood memories with a quirky, “cottage-core” aesthetic. Arora expressed her excitement, calling the milestone special as it marks Pero’s evolution in the fashion world.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, highlighted Arora’s global recognition for blending traditional Indian textiles with Western designs. He emphasized that the opening show would spark trendsetting conversation.
Similarly, Jaspreet Chandok from Reliance Brands mentioned that Pero’s anniversary showcase would bring a fresh, imaginative perspective to Indian craftsmanship .
The event will close with a grand finale by Rohit Bal on October 13, 2024, known for his signature elegant designs .
