New Delhi, January 12: The Maha Kumbh 2025, renowned as the world's largest religious congregation, is set to transcend its spiritual essence and emerge as a global tourism platform. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, has announced a series of initiatives aimed at boosting both domestic and international tourism during the event.

Held every 12 years at one of four sacred locations in India, the Maha Kumbh 2025 will take place in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26, 2025. 3. Luxury Accommodation and Curated Packages
   • The Indian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has set up 80 luxury accommodations at Tent City, Prayagraj.
   • IRCTC will also offer luxury tents, while curated travel packages are being promoted through a digital brochure distributed via Indian Missions and Tourism Offices.
4. Enhanced Connectivity
   • Partnering with Alliance Air, the Ministry has improved air connectivity to Prayagraj from multiple cities, ensuring smoother travel for domestic and international visitors.
