Mumbai, January 5: With the release date of ‘Azaad’ approaching, the makers have unveiled the vibrant track ‘Uyi Amma,’ showcasing Rasha Thadani’s impressive dancing skills and adding to the film’s growing buzz.
Taking to Instagram, Ajay Devgn, who plays a pivotal role in the film, shared the song’s video and expressed his excitement.
“Dhun aisi jo qatal kare aur inke moves mein hai taav bhare…#UyiAmma song out now. Witness the adventure of #Azaad on big screens on 17th January 2025,” wrote Ajay Devgn in his caption.
The song, composed by Amit Trivedi, features soulful vocals by Madhubanti Bagchi, with meaningful lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is set in pre-independence India and revolves around a gripping adventure. The story highlights Ajay Devgn as a skilled horse rider deeply connected to his horse. A dramatic turn of events sees him facing off against British forces, during which his beloved horse goes missing. The responsibility of finding the lost animal falls on Aaman Devgn’s character.
In an earlier conversation with ANI, Ajay Devgn praised Aaman Devgn’s commitment to the project, saying, “I have a significant role in his film as well. The trailer has been released, and people are liking it. Fingers crossed. He is a very hardworking boy.”
Azaad marks the big-screen debut of Aaman Devgn (Ajay Devgn’s nephew) and Rasha Thadani (Raveena Tandon’s daughter).
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on January 17, 2025, and the excitement surrounding it continues to grow with each new update.
