Litton Das Concern About Adapting To The SG Ball Ahead Of Their Test Series Against India

Bangladesh’s wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das expressed concerns about adapting to the SG ball ahead of their two-match Test series against India.

Unlike the Kookaburra ball, commonly used in Bangladesh’s home internationals and their recent series against Pakistan, the SG ball behaves differently, especially due to its more pronounced seam.

Litton highlighted that while the Kookaburra ball is easier to handle as it ages, the SG ball becomes harder to play with when old. He mentioned the team’s efforts to get used to this difference, understanding that it would be a significant challenge in India. Despite their historic series win against Pakistan, Litton emphasized the importance of focusing on the upcoming series rather than dwelling on past victories.

The first Test is set to begin in Chennai on September 19, followed by the second in Kanpur from September 27.
