Commonwealth Games gold medallist MC Mary Kom has shared her inspiring vision of nurturing and creating 1,000 champions in the world of sports. Supporting Play Sports, an extracurricular management and talent curriculum platform, she aims to encourage participation and development in sports across India.
Play Sports recently announced its Phase 1 initiative, which seeks to transform sports development in Rajasthan and eventually throughout the country. The initiative focuses on critical areas such as infrastructure, talent development, and grassroots engagement, with the ambitious goal of preparing India for success in the 2036 Olympics and establishing the country as a top-10 sporting nation.
To amplify its mission, Play Sports has appointed several well-known personalities as brand ambassadors, including boxing champion Mary Kom, actor and TV host Rannvijay Singha, and tennis legend Sania Mirza. These ambassadors aim to raise awareness and motivate emerging sporting talents.
