The Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday said, that the Hijab issue was an internal matter and is under the purview of the Indian Courts. The statement came amid global feedback on the row. India further reiterated that motivated comments on internal issues are not welcome.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said that those who know India well would have a proper appreciation of the realities.
