Air India Plane Crash: This Astrologer Predicted Aviation Targedy Weeks Before!

June 12, 2025: In the wake of the tragic crash of an Air India Dreamliner near Ahmedabad on Thursday, a chilling prediction made a week earlier by an astrologer is going viral, leaving social media users both stunned and unsettled.

Astrologer Sharmistha, who uses the handle @AstroSharmistha on X (formerly Twitter), had posted on June 5, warning of potential aviation incidents, including a possible plane crash. Her tweet, which had gone largely unnoticed until the crash of Air India flight AI171, is now being widely shared across platforms.

Aviation sector will do better in 2025… also plane crash headlines may give us shock…,” Sharmistha had written, referring to her astrological readings based on the positioning of Jupiter in Mrigashira and Ardra Nakshatra.

In a follow-up post, she noted,

When Jupiter will be in Gemini part of Mrigashira & Ardra… aviation will flourish but safety and security will be missing.

But what has truly captivated online audiences is a line from another tweet on the same day:

I am still holding high the prediction of plane crash.

Astrological Insight or Coincidence?

While some netizens praised the astrologer’s foresight, others expressed unease at the apparent accuracy and timing of the post. The incident has reignited debates around astrology, fate, and its role in predicting real-world disasters.

The post, which initially drew little attention, began trending after Air India Flight AI171, carrying 242 people, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport en route to London Gatwick. The accident has claimed at least 130 lives so far, with dozens of bodies recovered and emergency crews still on site.

Internet Reacts

The post has sparked a storm of online commentary, with hashtags like #ArtOfPrediction and #AstroWarning trending. One user wrote, “Are the stars really deciding the path of our flights?” while another added, “Such an accurate prediction? I’m starting to get scared of constellations now.

A Broader Prediction?

Sharmistha also mentioned that aviation expansion is on the horizon for India, citing Tata’s Rafale fuselage project in Hyderabad and advances in ISRO’s space engineering, including space tourism in the next two years — predictions she claims to have made based on Nakshatra transit calculations.

A Nation in Mourning

While the accuracy of her prediction is drawing attention, the focus remains on the tragedy itself. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu have mobilized emergency resources and are monitoring the situation closely.

As families grieve and investigators search for answers, this eerie prediction has added another layer of complexity to a tragedy that has already shocked the nation.
