Another Terrorist’s House Bombed in Kashmir as Crackdown Intensifies After Pahalgam Attack
April 27, 2025: Srinagar:
In a relentless crackdown following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have intensified operations, demolishing another terrorist’s house in the Valley.
Security forces bombed the residence of Farooq Ahmad Tadwa, a Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK)-based terrorist, in the Kalaroos area of Kupwara district, officials confirmed late Saturday. Tadwa’s house is the latest among a growing list of terrorist-linked properties being destroyed as part of a broader effort to dismantle the terror infrastructure.
Over the past 48 hours, authorities have demolished six homes belonging to active terrorists and their associates. Police officials have warned that similar action will continue against all individuals linked to terrorism.
On Saturday, security forces conducted raids at over 60 locations in Srinagar, aimed at seizing weapons, documents, and digital devices for evidence collection and intelligence gathering.
“This decisive action aims to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem by identifying and legally acting against individuals engaged in anti-national and criminal activities,” a Jammu and Kashmir Police spokesperson said.

The police warned that anyone found promoting violence or unlawful activities would face strict legal action under existing laws.
Authorities also reported that hundreds of overground workers (OGWs) and suspected sympathizers have been rounded up across South Kashmir, particularly in Pulwama, Shopian, Kulgam, and Kupwara districts.
On Tuesday, terrorists opened fire on tourists at Baisaran meadow — often called “Mini Switzerland” — near Pahalgam, killing 26 people, including visitors from other Indian states. The massacre has severely strained India-Pakistan relations, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowing to pursue the perpetrators “to the ends of the earth.”

Officials said Thoker and Sheikh are prime suspects in the Pahalgam attack, though investigations into their exact roles are ongoing.
Security forces continue operations to dismantle terror hideouts, disrupt networks, and eliminate threats across the Kashmir Valley.
