July 12, 2025: According to the RBI bank holiday list, all Indian banks will be closed on Saturday, July 12.
Since July 12 falls on the second Saturday of the month, it is a bank holiday. The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) bank holiday calendar states that all Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month are bank holiday days. With the exception of Saturdays the first, third, and fifth, banks are typically closed on weekends.
It is important to remember that only physical bank branches are closed on bank holidays. Even on bank holidays, ATMs and internet banking remain operational.
Which bank holidays are common?
According to the RBI bank holiday schedule, banks all throughout India are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. Every Sunday is a bank holiday in addition to this.
Weekend banking is closed except on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays.

Depending on the state of residency, bank holidays are granted by the Negotiable Instruments Act in accordance with regional, national, and religious observances.
