
Arvind Kejriwal Declares ₹1.7 Crore Assets, Faces 14 Cases Ahead of Delhi Polls
January 16, 2025: Ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February 5, Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Chief Minister of Delhi, has disclosed assets worth ₹1.7 crore in his poll affidavit. Notably, he owns no personal car or house, while his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, holds assets worth ₹1.5 crore.

Kejriwal’s financial disclosures reflect a significant reduction in movable assets compared to his 2020 affidavit, where his assets were valued at ₹9.95 lakh, while Sunita’s were ₹57 lakh.

Kejriwal revealed 14 pending criminal cases in his affidavit, including one related to the 2014 Lok Sabha elections in Amethi and others tied to alleged irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy. This is an increase from the 13 cases mentioned in his 2020 affidavit.
